WebI was wondering if if the difference matters between gas block finishes (nitride vs phosphate). All the nitride finish Aero gas blocks are sold out and the last two parts I need for my 6.5 build is a tube and block. Just was curious if you guys had any advice on whether or not it matters for the gas block. Nitrided barrels have about half the usable life of chrome-lined barrels, but nothing on the interior is seeing anything like the forces working on the interior of a barrel. Get whichever makes you happier. I've used both.
