WebJun 27, 2024 · Marford Quarry is a disused sand quarry which has naturalised with trees, mainly silver birch on the slopes, with oaks and others lower down and many interesting plants, some of which are rare, e.g. the tuberous pea and the milk vetch (liquorice plant).
