For some reason they don't make the software smart enough to ignore a really out of line tach blip so if it sees 700-725-715-10,000-710 they try and react to the 10,000. Web1 day ago · Had to remove the SafeGuard, it was causing a wierd ignition problem (would kill the ignition randomly when just cruising. engine would sometimes kick back on with a huge backfire and fitech would go haywire! removed the safeguard and all is good). Since the safeguard cannot control a cdi box, I reinstalled the summitracing cdi box and all is well. Webto give the engine more fuel when transitioning back to acceleration. You may also need to adjust your accel pump settings to help with this transition, as well. Choosing a Cam Selection Cam selection is based on vacuum load of the engine.
